Was just reading the latest from TechCrunch and found Ex-Googlers Try To Create A Better Travel Guide With Nextstop
…sounds like a hot new travel site that should be reviewed here on All-Travel-Sites.com.
A good review by Erek Shonfeld which includes comparisons and mentions to other social media travel guides such as TripSay and OffBeatGuides.com.
I realize NextStop is a really new site, so I will give them a break for their limited reviews in Chicago…come on there has to be better Chicago style pizza than Pizzeria Uno. I’ll have to check the Chicago page after our trip to OMS Chicago.
What Can You Do on NextStop?
- You can add travel pictures of things such as food you had while traveling…I’ll be sure to add a Chicago Style Pizza pic..
- You can create guides for places you have visited…I just created a Chicago Guide which I will add to after my upcoming trip. Guide include:
- a guide description along with guide keywords.
- recommendations for the guide
- Comment on the NextStop Blog.
- After signing in with your Facebook account or NextStop profile ID, you can then make comments on other peoples Guides.
- I like the feature that allows you to add a website link to your profile.
- You can also earn badges for making recommendations, guides, adding places, and for creating guides that get large amounts of traffic.
- You can add a customized NextStop map to your site which enables you to show your visitors all the places you have been to and created guides.
Well this is a short little review of the new site NextStop. Stop in and check it out and let me know what you think of NextStop.

looks like a good site – i know Chicago fairly well myself so know what you mean by the ‘limited views’ they have there…. definitely worth having a longer look at tho!
