Travel Sites

This is the weekly comprehensive summary post for the Twitter Travel tweets for the previous week.
Generally, I try to tweet a bit everyday on this account(I have multiple accounts), but my activity is highlighted with TravelTuesdays , when I participate in Travel Tuesdays on Twitter. I always discover some really cool travel sites on Tuesdays.

On these days in addition to finding other travel sites that are participating in I also try to moderate the directory. I will approve at least three travel sites, and tweet about these travel sites being added to the directory.

Also on Tuesdays, I give free links to AllTravelSites followers on Twitter who submit a link and include #tt in there travel site submission description.

Also for last week, we went over 1700 followers for the first time..woot..woot..

Also for last week, I started using Windows Live Writer as my desktop blogging client. I have used this on my laptop for sometime, but recently started using my desktop computer since I got it supped up and it kicks my laptops butt. Last, week I was working on a post, and clicked save, and I must have been on for quite a while because, Wordpress made me log on again. Quite  a bit of the post I was working on(still need to finish) was gone. I really hate when that happens. You would think I would learn.

Some Twitter Travel Highlights

1. I discovered TravelTuesday.org ..Tweets with #travel and #traveltuesday hashtags will show up on the site. It publishes the RSS feeds for those hashtags..pretty cool.
2. I found WalkTalkTours, which is a site for Walking tours in the UK.
3. Green Peace’s Eco-Sex Guide popped up..lol..
4. Last week the boy in the ballon story was all over the web, and I first heard about it on Twitter.
